Ameloblastic Fibrosarcoma. Only a few cases of this very rare tumor have been described. They were published under the names listed above. From the range of terms that have been applied, it is evident that this tumor was long classified among either the ameloblastomas or the odontomas.

Odontogenic Myxoma and Fibroma. Most authors assume that myxomas affect the jaws exclusively and have an odontogenic origin. Their occurrence elsewhere in the skeleton is controversial (Zimmermann and Dahlin 1958; Lichtenstein 1965; Pindborg and Hj?rting-Hansen 1974).
