Our preferred technique is a minimally invasive robot-assisted laparoscopic and thoracoscopic Ivor Lewis esophagectomy. In this chapter, we will present step by step EEA anastomosis in the chest and highlight other commonly performed strategies.

Minimally Invasive and Robotic Esophagectomy,f cancer compared to the later pathologic stage, where surgery plays a vital role in the treatment of esophageal cancer. Multiple studies have shown that a multidisciplinary approach to locally advanced esophageal cancer with surgical resection as an essential part of therapy contributes to survival benefit.

Robot-Assisted McKeown Esophagectomy, invasion of the airway on the imaging or on EUS, they?undergo flexible bronchoscopy with EBUS to ensure there is no invasion of the trachea. Patients also undergo a cardiac and pulmonary evaluation to ensure that patient is a good candidate for surgical treatment.
