Luis Ferney Moreno,Daniela Aguilar Abaunza help us to identify occult malignant lesions associated with high-risk lesions..In this chapter, we describe our experience with CEM in the study of high-risk lesions: we have described the characteristic features and enhancement patterns of the most common B3 lesions and we have also described its role in the patients’ management.

Benign Lesions,ons instead usually have a weak and late enhancement. However, these enhancement features are not specific, and there is a significant percentage of benign lesions that produces false-positive results [3, 4].

Intervention and Post-intervention Changes,urrence can be difficult with conventional imaging, because of post-surgical scars and post-radiation changes. Thanks to the use of iodinated contrast agent, CEM can be more accurate to evaluate recurrences, due to its tumoural neoangiogenesis, in this cohort of women (James and Tennant, Clin Radiol 73(8): 715–23, 2018).
