影響因子Asymptotic methods are of great importance for practical applications, especially in dealing with boundary value problems for small stochastic perturbations. This book deals with nonlinear dynamical systems perturbed by noise. It addresses problems in which noise leads to qualitative changes, escape from the attraction domain, or extinction in population dynamics. The most likely exit point and expected escape time are determined with singular perturbation methods for the corresponding Fokker-Planck equation. The authors indicate how their techniques relate to the It? calculus applied to the Langevin equation. The book will be useful to researchers and graduate students.

Essentials of Object-Oriented Programming,given a starting point somewhere outside the domain. The approximation for the return time appears to be independent of this starting point. The return time is related to the notion of resilience that is used in ecology, see Sect. 9.2.

Foundations of Nursing Practicexact solution. We choose to carry out a singular perturbation analysis because this method can be employed in higher dimensional problems for which an exact solution is not available. The present class of one-dimensional problems offers an excellent opportunity to develop the appropriate tools and to explore the scope of the method.

Essentials of Object-Oriented Programming,m of extinction of one population within a system of interacting populations can be approached in a more conceivable way using a stochastic logistic approximation. Other biological applications of stochastic exit are found in Capocelli and Ricciardi (1971), Ebeling and Engel-Herbert (1982), and Cobb and Zacks (1985).
