Access Roadsments. These are impacts that need to be identified, and, more importantly, managed for the duration of the construction works. This will be done by developing and implementing a traffic management plan as part of the ESMMP (see Chap.?.). On the other hand, improvement of the road network can also be a benefit for the local population.

The ESIA will have to give some indications on the expected qualities of the reservoir to be formed, for anticipating relevant management activities which will have to be taken in order to optimise its development, or for pointing out some additional potential uses of or potential risks in the future artificial lake.
