Fractionation Of Asphalt By Thin-Layer Chromatography Interfaced With Flame Ionization Detector (TL Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) for special identification of asphalt. This method can be applied in practice for separation of chemical substances especially in medicine and biology, lipid chemistry and the characterization of crude oil.

Columnar Phases of Liquid Crystals,d in the preferential formation of asphaltenes at an early stage of ageing process. For temperatures below approximately 90°C, it has been observed that the laboratory simulations data are closely related to the changes observed in road conditions.

In the autoclave experiments, the suggested surfactant not only raises the yield of coal liquefaction but also changes the distribution of products. Under the same condition, almost twice the yield was obtained for both coal
