,Asphaltene — Viscosity Relationship Of Processed And Unprocessed Bitumen,hange when subjected to the high severity conditions of upgrading reactors, the use of processed sample was expected to provide some additional information on the asphaltene content-viscosity relationship. It was found that asphaltenes with higher molecular weight resulted in higher viscosity of the mixture than those with lower molecular weights.

Field-Scale Numerical Simulation Of Bitumen Mobilization With Solvent Slugs,altene is particularly important for relatively higher bottom-water permeabilities. A series of numerical simulation runs was conducted to study the effect of a wide range of parameters, such as, the bitumen-to-water zone permeability ratio, type of solvent, the bitumen-to-water zone thickness ratio, flow rate, and others.

The Study Of Molecular Attractions In The Asphalt System By Solubility Parameter,asphalt are similar. In three-component solubility parameter spectra, the distribution of molecular attractions attributing from three categories, dispersion, hydrogen bonding, and polar interactions, are studied. In observing the spectra, dispersion forces dominated in the system is demonstrated to override either polarity or hydrogen bonding.
