Design of Machining Processes with Dynamic Manipulation of Product Modelstructed. Expert system techniques are introduced for such systems in order to utilize expert production engineers’ knowledge for generating process plans. However, such “expert” process-planning systems still have some problems in achieving higher levels of automation.
