Error, Ambiguity, and Creativityion of the hydraulic characteristics of aquifers subject to pumpage from wells. An important supplement to this is a function of the software, enabling analytical evaluation of aquifer characteristics based on monitoring data, where the source of perturbation is variations in the surface level of a water body.

Leaky Aquifershe pumping well penetrates only one (the main) aquifer. The head in the adjacent aquifer is either constant throughout the pumping-test period or varies over time due to pumping. The storage of the aquitards can be taken into account.

Slug Tests monitoring the water-level recovery in the same well until its original value is attained. Basic analytical relationships for slug tests are given for different experimental conditions. All such relationships take into account the wellbore storage.
