Age, stage and size structure as population state variables for , (Oligochaeta, Tubificidae)e results are used to establish a size-stage structured matrix population model. The asymptotic behaviour of the model is studied and a basic sensitivity analysis is performed, to evaluate the effects of the observed variability of the matrix elements, on the eventual finite growth rate.

Energy budget of Oligochaeta and its relationship with the primary production of Lake Sevan, Armeniaoduction of the preceding 10 years, which enables a prediction of the quantitative indices of the community of Oligochaeta. The values of energy budget ratios depend on temperature and oxygen regimes but not on the trophic status of the reservoir and were comparatively stable during the observed period.

A combined use of morphological and protein data for taxonomic purposes is suggested.
