Particle Swarm Optimization for Tackling Continuous Review Inventory Modelsoblem through the Kuhn–Tucker approach. The proposed technique does not require any gradient information but cost function values solely, while a penalty function is employed to address the cases of limited warehouse capacity. Experiments are conducted on models proposed in the relative literature, justifying the usefulness of the algorithm.

Analysis of Reconfigurable Logic Blocks for Evolvable Digital Architecturesfunction. These findings are quite unintuitive. Once important (sensitive) bits of the reconfigurable circuit are identified, evolutionary algorithm can incorporate this knowledge. We believe that the proposed type of analysis can help those designers who develop new reconfigurable circuits for evolvable hardware applications.

Evolving a Vision-Driven Robot Controller for Real-World Indoor Navigationin the process of synthesizing image features. Experiments concerning navigation in indoor environment indicate that the evolved controller performs quite well despite very limited human intervention in the design phase.
