Steady State Photosynthesis in Intact Plants as Analyzed by Chlorophyll Fluorescence and Far-Red Specopy) to electron transport during steady state assimilation. From the data we derived expressions which provide a basis of conducting measurements of the apparent guantum yield and the rate of photosynthesis non-inva-sively and remotely, using optical approaches which do not reguire the enclosure of plants in measuring devices.
