We also show that this combinatorics allows us to compute the cohomology groups of a vector bundle, the dual bundle of a vector bundle, the tensor product of two vector bundles, the dimension of the homomorphism spaces between two vector bundles, and finally to classify simple vector bundles.

Computing Minimal Generators of Ideals of Elliptic Curves,e studied. In particular, we consider elliptic curves and we describe a method to compute their Hilbert functions in any dimension and for every choice of the degrees. Applications to the study of elliptic curves on threefolds are shown.

Computational Algebraic Geometry Today,some of the main techniques we focus on rather small examples. But we also give hints on the actual size of the computations which can be carried through today, and we quote further survey articles for more information in this direction. With the exception of Section 10 all computations are done on a 400 MHz Pentium II processor.
