Model Order Reduction of Power Systems and Application of Internal Model Control (IMC),lower-order models has also been shown by performing time- and frequency-domain analysis. Lastly, this chapter provides tuning of PID controller parameters utilizing the internal-model principle. The usefulness of the obtained lower-order models and the developed controller is demonstrated through comparative analysis.

Conventional Controllers Applied for Frequency Regulation,equency controllers considering different operating environments. Furthermore, performance analysis of advanced controllers, e.g., state-feedback, LQR, and observer-based controller, has also been measured under the frequency regulation framework.
