https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-662-06810-6 density were used to induce aggregate formation. Optical sectioning with confocal microscopy revealed that non-viable cells were predominantly localized in the interior, especially in large sized aggregates. These results indicate that growth kinetics may differ in aggregates of different size. The

Peter Holleczek,Birgit Vogel-Heusere have established culture conditions for selective formation of floating spheroids on polylysine-coated surfaces. Also, suitable surface characteristics for stable reattachment and for high expression of functions of spheroids re-attached were investigated.
