Introduction,The vascularisation of the mesencephalon differs from that of other regions of the brain in that it presents more difficulties, so much so that mesencephalic angiography is not reputed to be sure. We shall see that a wider knowledge of the arteries and veins of this region diminishes considerably these misgivings.
