影響因子Integrated circuit technology is widely used for the fullintegration of electronic systems. In general, these systems arerealized using digital techniques implemented in CMOS technology. Thelow power dissipation, high packing density, high noise immunity, easeof design and the relative ease of scaling are the driving forces ofCMOS technology for digital applications. Parts of these systemscannot be implemented in the digital domain and will remain analog. Inorder to achieve complete system integration these analog functionsare preferably integrated in the same CMOS technology. An importantclass of analog circuits that need to be integrated in CMOS are analogfilters. .This book deals with very high frequency (VHF) filters, which arefilters with cut-off frequencies ranging from the low megahertz rangeto several hundreds of megahertz. Until recently the maximal cut-offfrequencies of CMOS filters were limited to the low megahertz range.By applying the techniques presented in this book the limit could bepushed into the true VHF domain, and integrated VHF filters becomefeasible. Application of these VHF filters can be found in the fieldof communication, instrumentation and control system

Harald Künemund,Betina HollsteinIn chapter 2, methods for synthesizing filters for high frequencies have been demonstrated. The transconductors were assumed to be ideal; infinite output resistance, infinite bandwidth, noiseless, distortionless etc. In this chapter the effects of non-idealities on the filter performance are discussed.

Der Weg in die SubstanzlosigkeitIn this section a simple model for the MOS transistor is given for hand-calculations in this thesis. The purpose of these hand-calculations is to obtain insight in the performance of the circuits rather than exact numerical accuracy. For simplicity only the model for the n-channel transistor in strong inversion is given here.
