The Transfer of Energy and Mass in the Spray-Filled Lower Marine Atmospheric Boundary Layer, the intensity of spray generation. As the vertical spray flow .. increases, it begins to play a substantial role in the transfer of momentum, heat, and moisture in the lower marine atmospheric boundary layer.

The probability distribution of the modulus of the wind speed over the ocean has been studied repeatedly on the basis of various sets of observational data (Davidan .., 1978; Dubov, 1974; Rzheplinskii, 1972; Sorkina and Gnevko, 1968).
