,Anchorage System for Penstocks—Case Study of Champawat Town Pumping Water Supply Scheme,g or rupture of the penstock. Hence for the economic usage of penstock, an anchorage system has been provided by means of RCC thrust block. This anchor provided to penstock will act as the thrust restraint due to its dead weights placed opposite to penstock’s line of horizontal thrust. The design of the RCC thrust block has been done manually.

,‘Phytowaste’ and Vermicomposting as a Potential Route for Its Environmentally Compatible Utilizatioutilizing most weeds are either not economical or are confined to their miniscule use in a few small regions of the world. In this context, the recently developed paradigm of ‘high-rate vermicomposting’ is discussed and its potential in converting billions of tonnes of ‘phytowaste’ into organic fertilizer is highlighted.

Physiological Features of Rice Cultivars Which Influence the Quantity of Methane Emitted by the Cul such initiatives can be reduced if the cultivar is such that it quickly and maximally transports methane to the atmosphere. Hence the physiology of the cultivar which influences the cultivar’s tendency to emit methane is of great importance. This paper summarizes the available knowledge on this subject.

Inductive Queries on Polynomial Equations, to remove the color of safranine o dye (C.I. 50240) from synthetic solution. Different parameters (pH, dosage, dye concentration, and particle size) were taken into consideration to study the biosorption process. The maximum color removal (approx. 98%) was quantified at pH 9 using 5?g of dosage quantity in 100?ppm of 100?ml dye solution.
