https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-14535-8nano-B.C in Cu matrix significantly enhances the hardness of the nanocomposites which in turn increases the wear resistance of nanocomposites. The nanocomposites with 1.5 wt% of B.C possess the superior microhardness and maximum wear resistance property. Morphology of worn out surfaces were explored by scanning electron microscopy.

The main interfacial phase has been identified as Mg.Al. between the reinforcement and matrix alloy.

William Friedman and the US Army, it is observed that maximum dry density decreases with increase in optimum moisture content. The CBR and UCC value increases with increase in percentage of crumb rubber till 15% for both the type of soils and the coefficient of permeability increases with increase in percentage of crumb rubber.
