Eve Mitleton-Kelly,Paul Lukowiczd the interference between the seal and housing. In this paper, the existing seal is analyzed with the help of numerical analysis called finite element method. Finally, the optimized seal is manufactured and validated experimentally. The optimized seal met the required seal opening pressure of less than 0.125?MPa.
