We demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach on identical object detection, image retrieval, symmetry detection, and action recognition. These applications will validate the usefulness of co-recognition to several vision problems.

In this chapter, we outline the main challenges of semi-supervised object recognition, we review existing approaches, and we emphasize open issues that should be addressed next to advance this research topic.
