Task Scheduling Scheme Based on Cost Optimization in 5G/Hetnets C-RANinto account deployment cost, deadline and available resources in order to make offloading decisions more efficient and to increase user experience. The solution was implemented in a simulator to highlight the benefit of the approach compared to existing approach.

Evaluation of Geocast Routing Trees on Random and Actual Networksmost wired networks, Shortest Path forwarding efficiency can come close to an ideal Steiner Tree. We also identify a correlation between the forwarding efficiency and network characteristics such as the node degree and betweenness. This information could be useful in deciding on a choice of routing method or even help with network design.

Analysis and Performance Evaluation of SDN Queue Model monitor change of average packet processing time for various network parameters. Using presented in this work SDN model, network administrators and planners can better predict likely performance changes arising from traffic variation. This allows them to make prompt decisions to prevent seemingly small issues from becoming major bottlenecks.

Analysis of a Retrial Queue with Limited Processor Sharing Operating in the Random Environmentce later. The stationary distribution of the system states (including the number of customers in orbit and in service) is computed and expressions for the key performance measures of the system are derived. Numerical example illustrates possibility of optimal adjustment of the server capacity to the state of the random environment.
