Donat R. Spahn,Urs Schanz,Thomas Pasch scope of zombies propagation, and found that most of the observed zombie outbreaks are small (i.e. on average 10% of monitored ASes for IPv4 and 17% for IPv6). We also report some large zombie outbreaks with almost all monitored ASes affected.

Uwe Schwarz buffer management methods (static vs. dynamic) are used in Android and iOS mediaplayers, and their interplay has led to our observations. Our empirical results and analysis provide some insights for the current Android and iOS users, streaming service providers, and mobile mediaplayer developers.

Typically packet loss increased during the busy period of the day, when mobile-access had a larger increase.

A. Zollingerent can all contribute to increased 5G PHY latency (and thus end-to-end (E2E) delay). Our study provides insights to 5G vendors, carriers as well as application developers/content providers on how to better optimize or mitigate these factors for improved 5G latency performance.
