Increasing TCP Capacity in Wireless Multihop Networkse claim that TCP can benefit more from delaying ACK rather than limiting the window size. Since the induced delay may result in lengthy transfer time for short connections, we propose an adaptive delayed ACK algorithm at the receiver to enhance TCP performance.
