Water on Planets and Dwarf Planets,e, also Mars became a dry planet. Water can be also found in the atmospheres of the giant planets. Also some of the objects belonging to the recently defined new category of objects in the solar system, the dwarf planets, might be covered by water ice.

Water on Earth, Properties of Water,l properties. Also the special phases of water are discussed amongst them the different properties of ices. Without these water would not play a substantial role for the evolution of life. Also the abundance of the constituents of water, hydrogen and oxygen in the universe is discussed.
