Treatment of Synthetic Petroleum Refinery Wastewater in Anoxic Reactors at Varied Feed Phenol feed phenol, sulphide degradation was favoured and higher amount of feed sulphide was converted to elemental sulphur (S.). Batch kinetics studies revealed complete degradation of all pollutants in anoxic condition, and time required for complete removal increased with increase in feed phenol concentration.
