Utilization of Lignocellulosic Agro-Waste as an Alternative Carbon Source for Industrial Enzyme Prorly, the review limits its scope to enzymes produced from fungal sources only. Conclusively, the review suggests that the ability to use agro-waste as an alternative carbon source in the production of enzymes calls for its wider utilization in the food-processing industries, thus, alleviating the cost concern.
