Planning a dynamic trajectory via path finding in discretized phase space,of the phase space of the system. This path finding problem can then be solved with a standard relaxation method in a parallel computation by exploiting a physical analogy: the target point in phase space is considered as the source of a diffusing substance whose concentration gradient serves as a local guide to the destination point.

Adaptive associative systems for VLSI,niform memory slices and by introducing a nonvolatile memory cell. Especially the task of transferring the system concept into technology in order to realize a microelectronic component with new interesting features will be pointed out. The performance of an adaptive associative memory is discussed by means of computer simulations.

Self-organizing hierarchical modular systems,odularity..These results are of vital importance to model building, to planning and management, and to other organizational problems, like pyramid architecture, because they show that there are general criteria for efficient planning, at least for the type of system under consideration.
