MIMD algorithms and their implementation,f algorithms need more effort and caution than for SIMD. Especially, a careful balancing of the parallel tasks and of the communication cost is necessary. Our results are not restricted to two processors, but can as well be applied with more processors.

Nonmonotonic reasoning formalizations and implementations, and McCarthy‘s Circumscription. Unfortunately all these formalizations are not semidecidable. In consequence implementations of nonmonotonic systems either must give up the idea of theoremhood and replace it by a weaker concept, or the expressive power of the logical language has to be restricted.
