,On the Waiting Time in the Discrete Cyclic–Waiting System of ,1 Type,We continue to examine a discrete time queueing system where the service of a customer may start at the moment of arrival or at moments differing from it by the multiples of a given cycle time. We find the distribution and the mean value of waiting time in the case of general service time distribution.

Algorithm of State Stationary Probability Computing for Continuous-Time Finite Markov Chain ModulatThis paper presents the description of the method for computing of state stationary probabilities for Markovian systems operating in the random environment. These systems are described as semi-Markov processes. The method generalizes some other results in this area.

Control Strategies of Subscription Notification Delivery in Smart Spaces,es. We consider an active control of the check interval for the client to adapt to the observable loss rate. The adaptive strategy takes into account the number of lost notifications. The performance is analyzed and compared with other strategies under simplified assumptions about the loss distribution.
