GI tract unraveling in volumetric CT,ly extracted from spiral CT images, the lumen explicitly unraveled onto a plane, and colonoscopy virtually simulated via fly-through display. A fast rendering method using the tree structure of objects in virtualized bronchus endoscope systelection of visible branches at the current viewpoint and the view direction. Segmentation of the visible human for high quality volume based visualization,A combination of interactive classification and supersampling visualization algorithms is described, which delivers greatly enhanced realism of 3D reconstructions of the Visible Human data set. Objects are classified on basis of ellipsoidal regions in RGB-space. The ellipsoids are used for supersampling in the visualization process.
