Relations Between Perception and Action: Unity in Diversity,aised in the information-processing approach myself, I saw nothing objectionable in its adoption by some of the contributors to this book. But now that Bieri has alerted us to its dangers and insufficiencies, I believe that a few words are in order, not in defense of the overall approach, but on some specific points raised by my co-commentator.
