Kinetics of Extracting Vanadium from Stonecoal by Alkali Leaching, leaching temperature of 95°C, leaching time of 7h, liquid to solid ratio of 1.2mL/g, and grinding fineness of 0.111mm. The leaching process is controlled by interfacial reaction kinetics and the apparent activation energy was 59.36kJ/mol.

Calcined Nanocrystaline Layered Double Hydroxides for the Removal of Arsenate and Arseniteite-3T was 193.4 m./g. The particles size ranged from 12 to 56 nm for the uncalcined Quintinite-3T and from 24 to 42 nm for the calcined Quintinite-3T. Kinetic analysis, adsorption isotherm, and factors affecting the adsorption were investigated. Calcined Quintinite-3T retained As(v) and did not release it back to water even after an entire month.

Adsorptive Recovery of Palladium and Platinum from Acidic Chloride Media Using Chemically Modified Ption capacities for gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(IV) were evaluated as 3.30, 1.67 and 1.00 mol/kg, respectively. Investigation of Iron Removal from Reduced Upgraded Titania Slag Using Mild Acids.1M HCl with 1M boric acid and 90°C are the most effective parameters for iron removal from the reduced UGS.
