Results of the study,nductive type, the latter being subdivided into three methods: pattern recognition, inductive-heuristic, and inductive-algorithmic. We hypothesized that the pattern recognition and the inductive-heuristic methods were mainly used by family physicians, the deductive and the inductive-algorithmic method usually by general internists.
