Microscopic approaches to N, annihilation potentials,give us information about the quark core in a nucleon. An attempt to calculate an N. annihilation optical potential using chiral quark model properties will be discussed and we will show that the proton r.m.s. radius constrains the effective annihilation potential for N. scattering.
