Legendre Spectral Solution of?Weakly Singular Hammerstein Integral Equations singular kernel are proposed. The projection is either an orthogonal projection or an interpolatory projection using . polynomial basis. Composite Spline Methods for Fitting Data on the Spherein. In this paper, a general theory is developed and a high order of convergence is obtained. A comparison with similar methods introduced in the literature, confirms that the proposed methods are more robust and efficient. A numerical application using 3D real data approximating a human head is provided.

On a?Modified Block Arnoldi Method for?Solving Low-Rank Sylvester Equationsay some additional blocks which are derived by multiplying the initial block by the inverse of one of the two coefficient matrices of the Sylvester equation. The efficiency of the suggested modified method, in comparison with the classical and extended block Arnoldi method, is confirmed with numerical examples.
