Low Frequency Measurements on Polymethylmethacrylate,below 1 kHz using a vibrating reed technique. Below 6 K the polymer shows the acoustic properties known from inorganic glasses: a temperature independent plateau in the absorption and a logarithmic variation of the sound velocity with temperature.
