Validation for?a?Polyatomic Model in?a?Fokker-Planck Solver Based on?the?Extended Master Equation Anl fits of experimentally measured heat capacity. An analytical solution based on the master equation ansatz is derived and the convergence of the Fokker-Planck solution towards it is shown. Deviations between the analytical and the reference solution are pointed out and explained.
