Thermonuclear Supernovae: Combining Astrophysical and Terrestrial Combustion,a deflagration to a detonation. Then simulations of the deflagration stage of a Type Ia thermonuclear supernovae are performed to evaluate whether a deflagration alone is enough to account for astronomical observations.
