Triacylglycerol lipase activities in isolated myocardial cells from chronically diabetic rat heartsmyocytes. Lipoprotein lipase activity was reduced in homogenates of diabetic myocytes. Neutral triacylglycerol lipase activity was increased in myocytes from rats made diabetic with the lower dose of streptozotocin, but not in myocytes from diabetic rats given the higher dose.
