Multiple Coherent Interaction in Optical Separated Fieldsecently elaborated new methods based on the use of Doppler free nonlinear resonances. The methods based on the use of spectroscopy of saturated absorption and two-photon resonances [1] are widely used. Transverse Resonance-Radiation Pressure on Atomic Beams and the Influence of fluctuations demonstrated that ions stored in electromagnetic traps can be cooled using the radiation pressure of nearly-resonant light [3].
