ICP in Experimental Head Injuryoncussion unless an intracranial hematoma is present (1,2). This report demonstrates that there are profound increases in intracranial pressure in the first few minutes after acceleration injury. These appear to be a function of injury severity and normalize quickly unless acute subdural hematomas occur.
