ISO Deep Far-Infrared Survey in the Lockman Hole al. by a factor of 10–50. The slopes of the number densities are similar at the both wavelengths, implying far-infrared sources are at low redshift. The Extragalactic Background and Its Fluctuations in the Far-Infrared Wavelengthsations, we have used the FIRBACK observations. FIRBACK is a deep cosmological survey conducted at 170μm with ISOPHOT [.]. We show that the emission of unresolved extra-galactic sources clearly dominates, at arc-minute scales, the background fluctuations in the lowest galactic emission regions. This is the first detection of the CFIRB fluctuations.

A Local Infrared Perspective to Deeper ISO Surveyssing longer wavelength IRAS colour criteria and produce complete 12 μm samples of galaxies and stars.
