Composite Centered Schemes for Multidimensional Conservation Laws,lobal composition of the two, that is by performing cycles consisting of several time steps of the second order method followed by one step of the diffusive method. On the Diffusion Limit of a Hyperbolic Relaxation System,We introduce a diffusive scaling to a hyperbolic system with relaxation and prove that, under such a scaling, the solution converges to that of a nonlinear convection-diffusion equation. Using energy estimates, such a limit is justified with the initial data prescribed around a travelling wave solution of the relaxation system.

Wave Propagation Methods for Conservation Laws with Source Terms,te near-steady shallow water flow over variable topography. In this paper we extend this algorithm to near-steady flow of an ideal gas subject to a static gravitational field. The method is implemented in the software package CLAWPACK. The ability of this method to capture perturbed quasi-steady solutions is demonstrated with numerical examples.

A New Approach for a Flux Solver Taking into Account Source Terms, Viscous and Multidimensional Effr significantly improves the accuracy for a 2D Euler test case without source terms and for 1D and 2D combustion simulations with stiff source terms and viscous terms.
