Mechanisms of Tolerance to Triazolopyrimidine Sulfonanilide Herbicides, at the whole plant level. Modifications in ALS can also impart tolerance. Evaluation of sulfonylurea and imidazolinone resistant weeds for sensitivity to triazolopyrimidines suggests greater likelihood of cross-resistance from sulfonylureas. A rapid method to identify target-site based resistance is described.
