Service Differentiation in FAN,The differentiation of quality of service in FANremains a major challenge. This is due to the fact that FAN does not use any signaling, which makes the process of informing nodes about incoming transmissions difficult. This chapter shows how service differentiation can be provided in FAN networks and the capabilities of this architecture.

Summary,Flow-Aware Networking is a promising concept for Future Internet. It is a simple, scalable solution which conforms to the net neutrality paradigm. The main assumption is that streaming flows should be quickly accepted in a link and immediately redirected to a backup link when a failure occurs.
