An Assessment of Some of the Factors Involved in Recent Landscape Change in Icelandrs mentioned earlier have been significant in initiating landscape change but that their relative effect depends very much on environmental factors. The major influence appears to be human pressure but climatic changes reinforce such pressures. At present the results must remain tentative until subjected to a wider analysis.
