Rereading the Nineteenth Centuryerentiation of the fetal B-cell have been the subject of numerous studies, there are still large gaps in our knowledge as to the molecular mechanism of these events. It is the purpose of this review to summarize recent observations on the growth, differentiation and functional maturation of the fetal B-cell.
