Electromagnetic Waves in Wire Composites I: Plasmonics, and has to be treated numerically. In this book, we describe one way to handle this class of problems with the multiple scattering method. At frequencies close to resonances of the basic units, expansion of the fields in . regions in terms of plane waves is not very efficient. The multiple scattering approach is better.
